This lesson will get you the knowledge of how to properly implement the Project Management approach within your organisation. The trainer will also review the main Project Management methods as divided into ‘waterfall’ and ‘agile’ approaches and finally, you will try to find a good way to always make the right choice of method for application in any specific project.
03Project Initiation
This lesson is about initiating a project. It is necessary to think about what initiation is, and about certain aspects of the task. To start with, we can distinguish three main issues that need to taken into account. These are the people who will participate in the project and the individuals around the project who have a significant impact on the project, the process that we will use to run the project, and the product of the project.
04Project Planning
In this lesson, the trainer will talk about the plans and planning process with regard to projects. A plan is a very crucial element of each project and is often overlooked or prepared without consideration. You will learn what planning is and what a "good plan" means. Then, the trainer will walk you through the planning process step-by-step. You will get familiar with the concepts and planning models and also advantages and disadvantages of project planning.
05Project Execution
The project execution is the most dynamic phase in the project"s life cycle. Here, most everything is happening and most everything is changing. This is a kind of practical test of the project manager’s skills and the outcome of all the project work that has been performed so far. Many projects do not get to this phase and are not completed at all. So, what does project execution depend on? You will find the answer to this question and many more in this lesson!
06Project Closure
This is project closure. Project closure is extremely important, not only in terms of the project you are running, but also for your future undertakings. Project closure is a process that is the summation of several activities. The closure itself can take place under several circumstances and we will start with this issue.
07Project Monitoring
The project should have a justification, certain objectives, products and results. In addition, it should be planned, have some beneficiaries and, of course, it should be limited in time and budget. All these elements may change with time and cause the project to start changing the direction determined at the beginning.
